Where do I login to Webmail?

What is Webmail?

There are multiple ways you can check your email. For example, you can setup a desktop email client such as Microsoft Outlook, Thunderbird, Mac Mail or web-based email clients such as Gmail to check your email. You can also check your email from your phone, such as an iPhone or an Android phone. Click on Email Accounts in cPanel followed by clicking the the Connect Devices button for the correct settings.

Webmail is another tool you can use to send and receive email. Webmail is different because you can access it using a web browser on any device. It doesn’t require any software. You can simply log into webmail and begin to use it. NOTE: Before you attempt to log into webmail, be sure that you have first created an email address within your cPanel.

Steps for logging into Webmail

The steps below will show you how to login to webmail. In this example, we are assuming the email address you want to check is user@example.com.

  1. Visit example.com/webmail

    Be sure to replace example.com with your actual domain name.

  2. Enter your email address and password, and then click LOGIN.

    Email Address: Enter your full email address, all lower case
    Password: Enter your email address’ password

  3. You should now be logged in! Click on one of the two webmail clients and get started using your email!

Login by Adding the Webmaill Port to the End of your Domain

  1. Visit the following URL to get to your webmail login:

    example.com:2096

    Note! Be sure to replace example.com with your actual domain name.

  2. Type in your email address and password. Your cPanel Username and Password can be found in the "New Hosting Account Information" email sent to you when you signed up.

Webmail Clients:

Roundcube: Is the new kid on block, just recently introduced into cPanel. Featurewise it falls in between SquirrelMail and Horde, however it has a very clean look and feel to it, similar to a desktop client such as Mac Mail our Outlook.

NOTE: If you forget your email address password, the easiest solution is to reset your email address password within cPanel or click on the Reset Password link on the login page. Then try to log into webmail again.
